General terms and conditions
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the relationship between the SSBS (Swiss Snowsports Professional and School Association) and its customers who register for courses and/or purchase goods via our shop.
CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
The offers on the Internet represent a non-binding invitation to customers to purchase courses/merchandise.
After entering the data and clicking on the completion button, customers submit a binding offer to conclude a contract. The order confirmation sent immediately by email does not constitute acceptance of the offer, but is only intended to inform the customer that the order has been received by the SSBS.
Orders by email, telephone or fax will not be accepted.
PRICES, DUE DATE, PAYMENT
Price fluctuations are possible. The price stated at the time of submission of the offer shall be decisive.
Only the payment methods displayed during the order process are accepted.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Good health and appropriate equipment are required for all offers. If participants do not meet the conditional requirements listed in the course announcement, the person may be excluded from the course without any right to a refund.
WEATHER INFLUENCE
In the event of bad weather/snow conditions, the SSBS can move the course to another location, postpone or cancel it at short notice. However, it is not possible for participants to cancel the course due to bad weather.
Additional costs will be borne by the participants. The participants have the possibility to withdraw from the contract due to a postponement.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
If the minimum number of participants for a course is not reached, the SSBS may also cancel a course. Alternatively, the course can be held with fewer participants if the registered persons agree to pay a surcharge.
RETURN COSTS, EXCHANGE
If the customer does not like an item from the online shop, it can be returned within 7 days of delivery - only unused and in our original packaging. The costs of the return are to be borne by the customer.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Registration is considered definitive. In the event of cancellation after the registration deadline, the following cancellation costs will be charged: cancellation from 30 to 10 days prior to the start of the course 50%, from 9 to 4 days 80% and from 3 days and absence from the course 100% of the course costs.
Cancellation insurance (4,5% of the course fee) can be taken out with Allianz Versicherung. This is the responsibility of the client.
INSURANCE
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. There is no liability, accident or health insurance within the course. The SSBS recommends that this is covered and that sufficient insurance cover is taken out for rescue and transport costs (e.g. Rega).
LIABILITY
The SSBS offers the greatest possible safety. However, there remain natural risks and dangers that cannot be avoided or excluded despite careful planning and management. By registering, clients acknowledge these dangers and risks and waive any claims for damages and/or liability in this respect. This also applies to theft, loss or damage of own or rented material.
WARRANTY
The warranty is based on the legal regulations.
PICTURE MATERIAL
The SSBS reserves the right to use film and picture material taken during the offer for print products, website and picture galleries. Persons may be recognisable on the photographic material. Clients agree to this without any right to compensation.
If this is not desired, this must be communicated to the SSBS before the start of the course.
DATA PROTECTION
The SSBS uses customer data to process registrations and to send out its own offers by post or email. Customer data is also passed on to the group members of the offer and to the person in charge, as well as to mountain railways and hotels if required.
For details see Privacy Policy.
PLACE OF JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Chur. All legal relationships between customers and the SSBS derived from the above contract and its terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law.
